Community Development Director Vision Together 2025

General Responsibilities: Vision Together 2025’s Community Development Director (CDD) is a leader and influencer within the greater Johnstown community. Engaging and empowering all manner of community stakeholders is fundamental to success within the position. The CDD is primarily responsible for providing leadership and administration for Vision Together 2025 subcommittees, otherwise known as Capture Teams. Capture Teams consist of grassroots community members who are interested in improving greater Johnstown.

Secondary responsibilities include project management and development by proposing opportunities that fit within the Priority Goals of the Organization and the scope of our Strategic Initiatives. Essential Duties • Position reports to the Executive Director of Vision Together 2025. • Manage Vision Together 2025 Capture Teams to ensure successful outcomes. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with various scales of complexities. • Serve as a resource to organize around initiatives that include multiple stakeholders. • Routinely consults with the City of Johnstown and other local jurisdictional agencies. • Prepare and provide presentations to groups large and small. • Participates with community organizations and in community projects. • Adheres to organizational policies. • Develop design and planning documents to advance specific initiatives on an as needed basis. • Initiate regular interaction and coordination with local, regional, state, and federal governments. • Attention to detail and project reporting will be important and required on a regular basis. • Other duties as assigned.
